What are the responsibilities and job description for the UI/UX Designer position at VITAS Healthcare?
- Design and create visual material used in organization’s advertisements/promotional publications and coordinate the creative, technical, and strategic production of online content and web presence.
- Provide quality design assets and expert UI/UX direction across our platform
- Rapidly test and iterate your ideas using A/B and multivariate testing
- Collaborate with the creative director, usability developer, and account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job.
- Develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the client’s objectives using a combination of graphic and digital web design.
- Utilize storyboards, mockups, wireframes, user flows, and process flows to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Keep clients informed of project progress, and make recommendations for improvement
- Create user interfaces and develop interactive design/design rules and guidelines on all projects as needed.
- Present finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers, maintaining established corporate branding specifications to ensure work meets organization guidelines.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in new media related to web and design programs such as InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.

- Minimum 5 years of experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or other web analytics and optimization platforms
- Minimum 5 years of experience and proven track of designing user friendly and appealing user interfaces.
- A deep understanding of branding, marketing concepts, and online marketing principles.
- Strong proficiency in Creative Suite with an emphasis on XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, along with InVision, Figma, Zeplin, etc.
- Able to take a holistic approach to web design that takes user personas, journeys flows, goals and page states into account
- Able to craft clean, usable experiences for web and mobile browsers
- Front end experience with HTML/CSS and familiarity with JavaScript and jQuery preferred.
- Use user insight, analytics, best practice, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
- Possess an exceptional portfolio that showcases solid, conceptual color layout graphic design skills as well as fully functional web samples.
- Excellent creativity skills to produce new ideas and concepts
- Ability to work on various assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player within all levels of the organization
- Ability to navigate within automated systems and proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
