13714 – Lead .Net Developer (hybrid) – Tallahassee, FL
Start Date : ASAP
Type : Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting : Hybrid (100% remote work is authorized for resources that do not reside within the Tallahassee area. Selected candidate would be required to be onsite to onboard for a short period . The Department does not cover expenses (travel, food, etc.) related to onsite onboarding. Resources that reside within the Tallahassee area must work in the office – Monday through Friday)
Required :
Experience working with development technologies including Microsoft.NET (C#), ASP.NET / MVC, WCF / WebAPI, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Durandal, Knockout, etc.), REST, XML, JSON, HTML, Python, GIS Frameworks, and CSS (8 years);
Experience as a lead developer (5 years)
Preferred :
Experience with Scrum, SAFe, DAD, or other agile approach
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Working as a senior developer on various cross-functional application projects, ensuring that robust and scalable solutions are implemented
Collaborating with other team members and Subject Matter Experts to ensure solutions are implemented according to customer requirements
Taking responsibility for full lifecycle application development
Ensuring code is written to implement the architecture and design such that it meets standards in terms of code quality and efficiency
Fully unit testing all solutions prior to User Acceptance Testing and implementation
Initiating, driving and delivering effective experiences in partnership with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the architectural vision are communicated, supported and delivered to the highest standards; aligning core.NET based platform development initiatives with Department development vision, strategy and deployment
Developing and applying knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies and methodologies.
