Start Date : ASAP
Type : Temporary Project
Estimated Duration : 10 months with possible extensions
Work Setting : 100% remote work
Required :
Experience working with development technologies including Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET / MVC, WCF / WebAPI, SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Knockout, etc.), REST, XML, JSON, HTML, Python, and CSS (8 years);
Experience as a lead developer (5 years);
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred :
Experience converting legacy (DB2, COBOL, CA-GEN, FOCUS, etc.) to modern technology.
Responsibilities :
Monitor service desk tickets and incoming requests, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently;
Identify root causes of problems using tools and techniques, collaborating with team members when necessary;
Research, document, and understand FDOT business processes and technical assets to improve system efficiency;
Provide a high level of customer service by updating customers on issue resolution status and assisting with business case development;
Perform application testing, including unit testing, and work as a senior developer on cross-functional projects to deliver robust solutions;
Take responsibility for the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and efficient code implementation;
Work with team members and Subject Matter Experts to align development initiatives with departmental vision, strategy, and best practices.
