ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Physically receiving shipments from Carriers
  • Verifying incoming shipments for accuracy (quantity, traceability, certifications) prior to receipt, into our ERP System (Epicor)
  • Distribute, track and stock merchandise
  • Monitor inventory and supplies (Cycle Counts)
  • Maintain a constant work level
  • Work directly with personnel to provide parts / kits as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Uphold the company core values
  • Verify the cleanliness of the parts, quantity of parts, and visually inspect parts for any obvious non-conformance or handling damage when handling / receiving
  • Work to priorities identified by supervision expediting “hot jobs” through the department
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Previous experience in general labor, Inventory Management or related fields
  • Ability to handle physical workload (Lift up to 30lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be capable of reading Bill of Material ledgers
  • Must be capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of different units of measure (Length, Area, Weight – Both mass & liquid)
  • Basic Math Skills (Addition / Subtraction / Multiplication / Division)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and competing demands.
  • EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift certification is a plus but not a requirement.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS : Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.

    REASONING ABILITY Prioritize activities and work under pressures at all times.

  • Comply with safety standard procedures
  • Be able to differentiate between a symptom and a root of the problem
  • Open to change and improvements
  • Maintain clean and organized workspace
  • CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
