Description :
Audio Visual Technician is responsible to set up, operate, maintain, and repair equipment used to enhance live events, such as microphones, video recorders, camcorders, projectors, lighting, and sound mixing equipment and other technical equipment as required. They may be needed to record meetings and presentations with video cameras, operate , adjust amplifiers, coordinate graphics used in displays and provide technical support. Maintain inventories of audio and video supplies. Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures. Working with clients on a 1 on 1 basis utilizing great customer service to meet client needs. The ability to work in Lab settings with exposure to both human / veterinary cadavers or specimens.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain all audio / visual equipment; ensuring quality of equipment and proper storage.
- Work independently and organize and prioritize work; analyze and troubleshoot complex issues; develop, recommend, and implement solutions.
- Greet client upon arrival and get presentations loaded and working.
- Assist client during event by monitoring audio levels and microphones.
- Work directly with event planners / clients to assure their needs will be met for their event and any special needs are recognized ahead of time.
