Job Description
As a member of the Cloud & Platform Services team, located in Houston, TX, you will:
- Collaborate with a dynamic, global team to innovate and accelerate our Developer Enablement Platform.
- Play a pivotal role in the strategy, implementation, and operation of CI/CD, observability and monitoring, common services, and cloud infrastructure.
- Liaise with application teams to design cloud-native, highly-available application architectures.
- Work closely with our Cyber Security team to fortify security within our ecosystem.
- Influence and implement CI/CD and cloud infrastructure policies, standards, and guidelines.
What you need to bring:
- Proficiency in building and operating CI/CD automation, in .NET, React or Python environments.
- Experience operating and supporting global applications.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native and hybrid application infrastructure, ideally using AWS.
- Exposure working in and administering Windows and Linux environments.
- Experience in CI/CD automation (ideally Jenkins), Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform), Git, and Container Orchestration (ideally ECS or Kubernetes).
- Scripting experience in one or more of Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Desired Skills/Experience/Attributes:
- 4 years of applicable experience
- A Developer Experience mindset focused on enabling and accelerating software development.
- Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry
- Previous experience in Software Development (.NET, React, Python), SecOps, or Cloud Engineering (AWS)
- Experience operating Kafka, Redis, Atlassian Suite, Elastic, Datadog, Job-scheduling systems (ActiveBatch), BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
