About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Landfill Gas Wellfield Technician at our Texoma Area Solid Waste Authority Landfill location in Whitesboro, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS). This includes performing well field tuning and monitoring, maintenance and repair tasks for the GCCS, and upkeep of monitoring equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the GCCS to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the GCCS, including pumps, piping, and wells.
- Conduct regular inspections of the GCCS blower/flare, air compressor, and analytical equipment.
- Report any issues or concerns to the Site Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License.
- At least 2 years of industry experience, preferably as a Landfill Gas Wellfield Technician or in Landfill Gas Construction.
- Ability to move and lift 50 pounds.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel).
