📍 Location: Lockport, IL 60441 (Onsite)🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM💰 Pay: $17 - $25 per hour (Based on experience)

Vitrek, a worldwide leader in safety and electrical test equipment, metrology systems, high-speed data acquisition, and RF recording solutions, is looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our growing team. You’ll play a vital role in assembling high-quality products used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, military, and electronics manufacturing.

What You’ll Do:

🔧 Electro-Mechanical Assembly – Perform box builds, wire/cable harness assembly, and general assembly tasks.🛠 Soldering & Circuit Board Work – Conduct SMT and through-hole hand soldering as needed.🔍 Quality Inspection – Inspect electrical and mechanical assemblies, chassis, cables, and harnesses for defects.📦 Component Preparation – Cut wire, strip, wire connections, and assemble kits for production.📋 Follow Work Instructions – Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, and engineering change orders to ensure accuracy.🛑 Safety & Compliance – Maintain high-quality standards while following safety guidelines and best practices.🔄 Other Duties as Assigned – Support additional production and assembly tasks as needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

✔ Mechanical Aptitude – Comfortable using hand tools and small power tools.✔ Technical Skills – Ability to solder and rework fine-pitch SMT parts under magnification (preferred).✔ Attention to Detail – Strong ability to follow verbal instructions and written procedures.✔ Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Solid judgment and organizational skills to multi-task effectively.✔ Team Player – Ability to communicate professionally and work well with others.✔ Flexibility – Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet company goals.

What You’ll Bring:

🎓 Education & Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or technical diploma required.
• 3 years of assembly experience and/or military technical training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

💪 Ability to perform repetitive tasks with excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.📦 Regularly lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and stand for long periods.
