Summary
We are seeking a Marketing Associate to join our dynamic team at Vitreoretinal Consultants of NY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing marketing strategies that promote our services and engage with our community. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care and support to our patients.
Location: This position will take you around most of Long Island, TRAVEL IS A REQUIREMENT
Responsibilities
The main tasks for Marketing Associate would be to:
1. Monitor all our online, digital presence (GMB listings)
2. have experience in graphic design and video production/editing,
3. perform site visits (about 10-15 a week) and market our company visiting sites (meet referring Optometrists, Ophthalmologists in the area as per BDM’s guidance)
- Work with Business Development Manager on the creation of a marketing budget & marketing calendar- What will we need? What are we spending, where are we spending, and why?
- Review efforts extended by other RCA business development staff- look at efforts in place and provide feedback
- Set up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities through Keap and MailChimp
- Create educational videos of our MDs speaking on conditions and continue building Education Center, Podcasts, and You Tube
- Create designs and artwork for posters, postcards, ads, etc. whatever is needed from BDM and MDs
- Implement marketing plans that include print, broadcast & online content
- Create and circulate a practice newsletter to referral sources (Goal-Monthly)
- Assist in site visits for BDM – meet referring Optometrists, Ophthalmologists in the area as per BDM’s guidance
- Monitor all our Google My Business accounts, and reclaim ownership on the listings that are pending
- Create new listings as needed and update all current ones with photos, hours, and all other missing/pending data
- Finalize and obtain patient education material customized to VRC
- Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities
- Ability to use Mailchimp, Keap, Excel, and Teams
- Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors including but not limited to:
a. Top Doctor Plaques
b. Super Doctors
c. Castle Connolly
d. Rising Stars
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format for management
- Provide Business Development Manager with weekly reports
- Complete any other administrative tasks assigned by the CEO, Administrator, BDM, and/or the physicians
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
