About the Job:
Vitro is seeking a highly skilled Factory Line Worker - Machine Operator to join our team at our Crestline, OH facility. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for operating various equipment and machinery to produce high-quality glass products. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a variety of shifts, including 2nd shift and night shift. You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial equipment and machinery, as well as excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of production equipment, including glass cutting lines and furnaces
- Inspect and pack glass products when not operating or to provide breaks
- Participate in 5S activities and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities
