We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of heavy equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, and tractors
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and hydraulic components
- Align and assemble machinery parts as needed
- Conduct tire service on various types of equipment
- Work on farm machinery, tractor-trailers, Caterpillar equipment, and industrial machinery
- Operate tools to dig, weld, solder, and cut metal parts
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities
Experience
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role
- Familiarity with a wide range of heavy equipment brands and models
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Certification in heavy equipment maintenance is a plus
