The Vivacity Vice President of Marketing is responsible for embodying the Vivacity values and entrepreneurial culture. This person will own brand identity, embrace data through the K-12 Google Chromebook market research and create the go-to-market plan, while leading the marketing communications, digital marketing, tradeshows, and demand generation. The Vice President of Marketing owns the marketing budget and leads the marketing team.This is a hybrid position in Greenville, SC. You must be located in the Greenville, SC area. This position is NOT remote.What will we give you for your hard work : 200k Salary, depending on experience401(k) with generous company match and immediate vestingExcellent Paid Time Off policyUp to 80 hours Sick Time per year96 hours off per year for volunteer opportunities11 paid holidays per yearAward winning work environmentDevelopment Reimbursement of $1000 per yearMedical, Dental, Vision, and Voluntary BenefitsOur Values drive everything we do : Carry passion.Desire excellence.Keep dreaming.Build community.Be Vivacious.While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions : Gather and analyze data to better serve the K-12 Ed Tech space, work closely with sales to optimize sales growth and customer experience.Be the primary owner of the Vivacity brand story including simplifying the corporate messaging, building the ideal customer profile, unique value proposition, and competitive differentiators.Work closely with executive leadership on the overall go-to-market plan.Create the marketing communications assets, content marketing and social media plan.Lead the digital marketing efforts including the website, email campaigns, and social media.Work with the trade show team and the project manager to deliver objectives and key results.Responsible for developing a quarterly marketing campaign calendar for demand generation.Work closely with the Director of Transformation on process improvement.Manage a portfolio of strategic marketing partners and manage a team of Marketing and Trade Show professionals.Lead, manage and coach the marketing team.Co-pioneer the company’s utilization and efficacy of AI for marketing.Build the Press Relations plan for the company and key leaders.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory DutiesHiring, training and development of team members towards successful performance in their roles.Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback.Creating and monitoring schedules and work times including approving and managing time cards.Resolve employee issues and disputes, partnering with the P C team when necessary.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.Ability to work independently.Education & ExperienceExperience in the K-12 space is highly preferred.Experience with the Google Chromebooks ecosystem is preferred.Grasp of the high tech distribution channel.AI study and insights is preferred.Google Workspace and Hubspot CRM experience is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience is required.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to lift and / or carry up to 15 pounds of brand merchandise as needed.Travel will be required for the Vivacity Vice President of Marketing.In alignment with our goal of creating a diverse team, we are strongly encouraging candidates of color to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
