Intellectual Property Paralegal

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be an assertive individual who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and can work effectively in a collaborative team environment to meet docketing targets. This role is crucial in supporting attorneys with various intellectual property matters, including data entry, legal research, and document preparation and review.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing patent applications and related documents.
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently within the firm’s docketing and billing systems.
• Review and organize documents related to intellectual property matters.
• Maintain organized files and records for ongoing matters, ensuring easy access to information.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required.
• Experience as a paralegal preferred, willing to train the right candidate with prior professional experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data entry with a strong understanding of docketing software.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
