We currently have an opportunity for the Activity Center Supervisor position at our Pembroke Pines location.
Job Summary
The Activity Center Supervisor will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the wellness center, focusing on the development and implementation of activities and programs tailored to elevate the overall well-being, entertainment, and social engagement of community members.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a diverse range of wellness and entertainment programs tailored to the unique needs and interests of the members.
• Organize and facilitate group activities, exercise classes, cultural events, and recreational programs to promote physical health and social engagement.
• Directly supervise wellness center attendant, including activity coordinators and support personnel, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Conduct individual assessments of seniors' wellness needs, preferences, and limitations to customize programs and activities accordingly.
• Assist in the development and management of the wellness center budget, ensuring efficient use of resources for optimal program outcomes.
• Actively engage with senior community members, solicit feedback, and adjust programs to meet evolving needs and preferences.
• Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, program outcomes, and individual progress for reporting and evaluation purposes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and create a safe and accessible environment for seniors with varying levels of mobility and health conditions.
• Handle members' food and keep up-to-date records of assistance to ensure an adequate number of snacks and refreshments are available.
• Ensure the food is in good condition, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
