Must reside in one of the following states but work remote : NY, NJ, PA, CT, MA, ME, RI, NH, VT
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for processing all AP items related to the Business and ensuring timely payments to our vendors. This role requires basic bookkeeping skills along with a strong attention to detail, a high degree of time management, and organization as well as outstanding communication skills.
Job Requirements :
- Oversee entire AP process related to designated shops to include :
Perform daily data entry associated with Accounts Payable.
Accurately review, code & process vendor invoicesReconcile and prepare payments for vendor accountsAddress & respond to vendor inquiries & discrepanciesSupport location team members on all vendor related itemsResearch billing errors
Assist shop with AP related questions or concernsProvide guidance to location in making appropriate entriesWork closely with vendors setting up new accounts.Maintain a significant number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures.Skills, Qualifications & Requirements :
Must be at least 18 years of ageAccounts Payable experience requiredCCC One experience preferredNetSuite or similar ERP experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProfessional attitude and a team playerTrustworthy, high degree of integrityAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise, self-starterAbility to work effectively, independently, and adhere to deadlines in a remote settingExcellent organizational skills and detail focusedMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksExcellent communication skills within the organization & in vendor relationsWhat’s in it for you?
