Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to :
Create arrangements of green and blooming plants for pick-up or delivery (willing to train)
Assist customers in plant problem troubleshooting (willing to train)
Care for plant material
Maintain Greenhouse retail displays
Unload and unpack plant shipments
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the greenhouse's retail and design areas
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
- 50%) Completing order requests
- 35%) Handling and processing of new merchandise and plant material
- 15%) Housekeeping of store and greenhouse areas
Qualifications :
Availability to work weekends
Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions and seasons
Knowledge of or willingness to learn plant care & identification
Physical Requirements :
Able to stand for long periods
Able to frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds
Experience and interest in plants are helpful, but not required.
