Job Summary:
As part of the Oncology-Pharmacology team, the successful candidate will have hands-on industry experience in executing in vivo studies with the ability to manage an in vivo core team. Ability to serve as a program representative is a plus with responsibilities in providing scientific input, formulating study designs and adhering to program timelines from discovery to IND-enabling. They will be asked to interpret experimental results and present work at company meetings. Title will be commensurate with experience.
Requirements:Education and Experience requirements:
- BS/MS with 10-15 years or PHD with 2 years of industry experience (small molecule drug discovery is strongly preferred)
- Expertise in developing and executing oncology models (CDX and syngeneic; SC and orthotopic) is required
- Hands-on experience with general rodent handling is required including dosing via multiple routes (PO, SC, IV, IP), blood collection, tumor implantation, necropsy, and tumor/organ collection
- Survival microsurgery skills are preferred
- Experience with cell pharmacology, cell culture, basic molecular biology techniques and plate-based readouts is preferred
- Collate, interpret and communicate data to advise on project progression
Pay & Benefits:
The anticipated annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $145,000 depending on relevant skills, competencies, experience, and education. In addition, this position is eligible for target bonus, long-term-incentives, 401k retirement savings plan with company match, and a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
