Floor Technician Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking Floor Technician to join our cleaning team. While we are willing to provide training to the right candidate, you should have some janitorial experience and familiarity with various cleaning products, techniques, and equipment. The duties of this job include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing the floor surfaces in our building. You may also help clean or extract carpet. In some cases, you may have to move furniture for floor access or be asked to perform other light cleaning tasks.
Floor Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Sweep and mop floors
Assist with striping, buffing, and waxing surfaces
Clean or shampoo carpets
Perform light window and wall cleaning duties
Maintain equipment and supplies
Follow workplace safety standards
Floor Technician Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
Prior cleaning or janitorial experience required
Physical stamina
