Summary:
The IT Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage a team of IT professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage IT Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including network management, server maintenance, system administration and servicedesk.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- System Monitoring and Administration: Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health, performance, and maintenance of IT systems (ex: Windows Servers, Active Directory).
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve IT incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Security Management: Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing and maintaining cybersecurity protocols and procedures (ex: MDR, Firewall, Endpoint Protection).
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
- Project Management: Lead IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Asset Management: Maintain inventory and control of enterprise IT assets.
- Microsoft M365 Administration: Oversee the administration and management of Microsoft M365 services.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in managerial role.
Competencies:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network management, server administration, and IT security. Experience with cloud services and virtualization is a plus.
- In-depth Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of network and systems configuration in large environments.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications: Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
