Summary:
In this role, you will work with key leadership from government agencies, participating 340B hospitals and clinics, national advocacy associations, pharmacy manufacturers, and wholesalers in support of 340B compliance and PVP contracting optimization. You will communicate with stakeholders regarding complex 340B pharmacy operational and policy situations, and provide recommendations based upon experience aimed at assisting the customer in compliance and optimizing customer savings. You will demonstrate an expert-level of 340B knowledge and expertise, and proven ability to provide recommendations on complex issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide field-based customer support/site visits for 340B participants to support best practices to promote 340B compliance and identify opportunities for enhanced customer savings.
- Lead as a knowledge expert in 340B education as faculty for 340B University live and authors/reviewers for the 340B on Demand educational programs.
- Serve as business lead for compliance related projects.
- Present publicly on policy and data issues to all stakeholder groups, include executive-level leadership.
- Support HRSA with operational knowledge on special projects regarding pharmacy policy and practice.
- Provide expert-level escalation support for the Apexus Answers call center.
- Provide 340B and safety-net pharmacy business intelligence to the marketing and operations teams representing the voice of the customer, as well as quality assurance regarding data and messaging to customers.
- Identify and analyze 340B and 340B-adjacent market trends and policy and provides insights and communicates stakeholder best practice solutions through compliance support and education efforts.
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree required. PharmD preferred and a master's in business or healthcare preferred.
- 7 or more years of experience with 340B pharmacy required.
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and Microsoft software programs required.
- Board of Pharmacy registered preferred. Graduate training in an accredited College of Pharmacy (M.S. or post-baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy) and have completed a pharmacy residency desired (ASHP approved residency).
- ACE (Apexus Certified Expert) preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:
$135,200.00 - $201,200.00This position is also incentive eligible.
