Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $187,800.00 to $348,300.00.

Responsibilities
Strategic Ownership:
- Own accountability of engagement deliverables, financial outcomes, and compliance with the SOW while ensuring adherence to the Spend Management Partnership Management Methodology (SM-PMM). Rejects deviations that may impact quality or results.
- Building client trust, gains buy-in for initiatives and influences Financial Impact Agreements (FIAs) and strategic decisions.
- Manage resource allocation by aligning SME hours and staff assignments with engagement objectives while overseeing scope control and risk management. Rejects unauthorized activities outside the SOW unless formally approved with mitigation measures.
- Track key performance indicators and proactively communicates issues to internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and lead the Vizient/Client governance structure for the engagement, including Steering Committee meetings and C-Suite updates.
- Maintain financial compliance and vetoes decisions that exceed budgets, impact margins, or misuse SME hours.
- Safeguard quality control by escalating unresolved issues and adhering to governance standards.
- Drive accountability within the team by coaching, guiding, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Lead with influence to align teams on goals, while promoting professional development, ethical behavior, and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure high satisfaction and successful outcomes.
- Craft and deliver clear, confident, and persuasive communications to senior executive-level audiences within Vizient and client organizations.
- Facilitate internal and external meetings, ensuring alignment across workstreams and signoffs on critical milestones.
- Understand and manage engagement scope, timeline, financials, risks, and dependencies.
- Track engagement performance using quantitative and qualitative measures of value, velocity, and satisfaction.
- Relevant degree preferred. Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a closely related field desired.
- 10 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Extensive experience in spend management within a supplier, hospital system, or consulting is required.
- Ability to make effective and efficient strategic decisions and prudent judgment to achieve long-range and short-term goals.
- Must have executive presence and strong communication skills.
- Capable of rapidly building trust, relationships, and credibility.
- Promote and preserve the Vizient culture both within the team and in communications with other teams, projecting a strong work ethic, helpfulness, compassion, integrity, and character.
- Proven ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals and groups that includes having excellent consensus building and conflict resolution skills.
- The ability to positively influence, inspire and motivate people’s behaviors and actions.
- Willingness to travel.
