Job Title: UX Designer
Location: Andover, MA - Onsite 5 days a week
Duration: 12 Month

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong UI/UX design skills showcasing problem solving techniques focused on the customer.
- Expertise in design software such as Figma, Fig jam, and Miro.
- Deep understanding of user-cantered design principles and practices.
- Strong understanding of usability principles, journey mapping techniques, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to support evidence-focused design decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and process.
- Define and execute a customer centric strategy to focus on the customer experience through user research
- Strong journey mapping experience.
- Developing wireframes and task flows based on user needs
- Collaborating with Designers and Developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software Understand product specifications and user psychology
- Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback
- Create personas through user research and data
- Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
- Work with existing UI Developer to create wireframes and prototypes around customer needs
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
- Ability to lead and manage a team
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant discipline such as UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design Thinking, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of proven experience as a UX Designer responsible for Design and UX Research and advocating for customer experience
- 3 5 years of user research and usability testing

- Strong Interpersonal and consultative skills Seeks understanding, excellent listener Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, marketing and key stakeholders Detail-oriented and able to deliver at an elevated level of accuracy
- Experience working with agile development methodologies.
- Strong portfolio showcasing web application projects, detailing your role and process Strong portfolio of design projects
- Proven expertise in creating designs that work seamlessly across multiple devices and screen sizes Background in project management and research
- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma)
- Some knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript/React is a plus
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Analytical mind with a business acumen Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and thought processes
