Job Overview
To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States, CATL, through its U.S.-based subsidiary, CATK, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Testing and Inspection Engineer to manage and enhance the quality testing processes for battery core testing and related equipment. The ideal candidate will oversee various testing methods, improve inspection efficiency, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Essential Functions
- Oversee the quality management of battery core testing, including physical and chemical testing, appearance inspection, and the use of specialized testing equipment such as CT machines and gas chromatographs.
- Enhance the effectiveness of quality testing items by developing and refining testing methods.
- Monitor daily data related to quality inspections, analyze problems, and set up projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop advanced detection methods to improve the accuracy and reliability of quality inspections.
- Focus on improving detection efficiency and reducing the costs associated with detection quality.
- Collaborate with on-site process teams, equipment operators, and production departments to analyze process problems.
