What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infrastructure Project Manager position at VK CONSULTING SERVICES?
Must have:
- Must be an Infrastructure-focused Project Manager (not application-focused)
- Hands-on experience managing Windows migration projects is essential—specifically, upgrading from Windows Server 2012 to 2022
- Familiarity with network configuration and working with various security technologies
- Experience leading projects across the full project lifecycle using Waterfall methodology
- Prior collaboration with GCR networks is a plus
- Understanding of infrastructure-related network dependencies, especially in environments with end-of-life Windows systems
Responsibilities
- Project Manager ensures that the project delivers the agreed business benefits on time, to budget, to the required quality standard, all within the CLS Project Governance framework.
- This role will be responsible for delivery of primarily IT infrastructure projects in support of a broader portfolio spanning obsolescence, off the shelf application upgrades, Security enhancements, end user computing and network / communications solutions.
- Key stakeholder groups will be the Enterprise Architecture, IT Security, Testing, Risk, Infrastructure and Performance/Capacity teams
