Position Overview :
We are seeking a Technical Accounting Senior Manager to provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters, including contracts, revenue recognition, leases, and more. This role involves developing and supporting the Technical and Corporate Accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide technical accounting guidance on contracts, revenue recognition, leases, derivatives, and more.
Conduct VIE assessments, impairment analysis, and manage acquisitions and divestitures.
Develop and mentor team members in technical accounting reviews.
Collaborate with diverse teams to implement accounting standards effectively.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7 years of experience in Technical Accounting and writing accounting memos.
Certified Public Accountant (preferred).
Strong knowledge of GAAP standards and ability to research and document conclusions.
Excellent communication skills for simplifying complex topics.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Information :
Supervisory role with no direct reports; collaboration with various groups is essential.
Travel required : 1 to 4 domestic trips per year.
