Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Technical Sales Engineers with a strong background in custom plastic injection molding to join our team. In this role, you will focus on expanding our client base, showcasing our capabilities, and building lasting relationships with customers. Compensation
Base Salary : $100,000 Commissions
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Proactively identify and source new opportunities for custom plastic injection molding production.
Expand client base by consistently networking, prospecting, and following up on leads.
Technical Demonstrations
Showcase the technical features and capabilities of custom injection molding processes.
Articulate complex technical concepts in an accessible way to customers.
Sales & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong business relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Meet and exceed established sales goals, tracking performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
Travel & On-Site Support
Travel to customer sites to provide personalized service and conduct on-site visits to demonstrate facilities and manufacturing processes.
Present solutions that address specific customer needs.
Collaboration & Quoting
Work closely with Engineering teams to develop competitive quotes and proposals that align with client requirements.
Ensure accuracy in pricing and feasibility assessments.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Plastics, or related field preferred).
Experience :
5 years of technical sales experience within the custom injection molding industry.
Demonstrated track record in a customer-facing engineering or technical sales role.
Technical Knowledge : Solid foundation in the principles and processes of custom plastic injection molding .
Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly.
Flexibility : Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
