Job Summary:
The QA/QC Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all waste management processes comply with approved generators waste description and environmental regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and collaborating with operational teams to improve operational efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
Ability to enter data into computer systems
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to operate Forklift/heavy equipment as needed
Ability to work well with others and in a team environment
Lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work standing/sitting
1 years experience in waste management, environmental services, QA/QC, industrial operations preferred
Familiarity with pH probes, 5-gas meters, and environmental sampling techniques
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to follow SOPs
Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions
Ability to work in office and industrial/outdoor/warehouse setting, including exposure to varying weather conditions

This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and collaborating with operational teams to improve operational efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on waste collection, sorting, processing, and disposal operations to ensure compliance with
- Conduct material testing to verify waste categorization and assess contamination levels.
- Document and analyze test sample results, maintaining accurate records for audits and compliance purposes.
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain testing equipment used in waste material analysis.
- Identify process inefficiencies and quality issues, recommending and supporting corrective actions.
- Revise and optimize testing and inspection protocols for improved accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed quality assurance reports and present findings to management.
- Coordinate with operational teams to implement and monitor corrective measures for recurring quality concerns.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance overall waste management processes and quality standards.
- Operate equipment as needed.
- Operate scale as needed.
- Ensure all QA/QC activities comply with EPA, OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE usage, hazardous material handling, and emergency response procedures
- Ensure all equipment functions properly and meets industry and company standards.
- Perform other job duties as needed.
