Skill: Splunk Observability Architect
- Experience with both the Unix and Windows operating systems; comfortable with the command line interface.
- Experience with Infra, Mainframe and Mule Monitoring through Observability tools.
- Experience developing technical documentation to include architecture diagrams, user guides, white papers or product manuals.
- 5 years of current experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Implementation.
- Experience with implementing Synthetic monitoring, Real User Monitoring and Log based monitoring for applications.
- Experience with implementing any APM software (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace or AppDynamics).
- Proficiency and demonstrable understanding in at least 2 of the following programming languages: Java, .NET, PHP, Ruby, Python, Node.JS, Objective-C, Java-Dalvik.
- Experience with automation/orchestration tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform.
- Proven experience working with container orchestration i.e. Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong experience with Cloud IaaS providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with enterprise monitoring systems i.e. Nagios, Elastic and Splunk.
- Experience with serverless functions i.e AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, Azure Functions.
- Experienced and comfortable closely collaborating with Application teams to ultimately drive App Team-focused outcomes!
- Experience successfully leading global end-to-end process and technology transformation projects.
- Well organized and ability to meet SLAs.
- Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate processes within and across teams.
- Self-motivated, independent and self-educating, yet willing to stop, collaborate and listen with partner community and fellow Splunkers.
