We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Wedding Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable events and ensuring that every aspect of a couple's special day runs smoothly.
Candidates with experience with Event Sales/Wedding Sales / Hotel Sales Preferred from Washington
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their wedding vision and preferences
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of weddings, including venue selection, catering, decorations, and entertainment
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure services within budget
- Create detailed timelines and schedules for the wedding day
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure everything goes according to plan
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the planning process
- Stay up-to-date on wedding trends and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in hotel or event planning is a plus
- Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines effectively
- Knowledge of contract negotiation and vendor management
- Familiarity with catering, banquet services, and events management
- Proficiency in event marketing to attract clients and promote services
- Understanding of market trends in weddings and fundraising events
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.48 - $23.46 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- Weekends as needed
