Nurse Manager Job Description
VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to oversee clinical care at our Freehold, NJ facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, leading a team of clinical staff, and collaborating with our Front Office Manager to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of clinical staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CMAs, to provide exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement effective orientation and training programs for new clinical staff.
- Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to ensure seamless patient care and achieve key performance indicators.
- Participate in quality initiatives and identify opportunities for patient care improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and logs to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Supervise the environment of care and adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
- Participate in community outreach to promote CHC services and programs.
Requirements:
- RN with a BSN degree required.
- 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with 3 years in ambulatory care.
- Current BLS certification and venipuncture certification preferred.
- Valid NJ driver's license and reliable transportation.
