What You Will Do
- Partner with finance leadership across all business lines to perform financial analysis and develop annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts, and other financial plans.
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial packages in collaboration with finance leaders across all business units. Reports include monthly business reviews, finance committee reports, and board presentations.
- Collaborates with shared service leaders on the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, providing benchmarks and other external datapoints to identify potential efficiencies.
- Lead the preparation of schedules for financial dashboards and key performance indicator reporting and analyze financial drivers and trends to develop actionable insights
- Supports financial planning tools (e.g., Workday, Adaptive), including reports, dashboards, and input forms.
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide financial insights and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives and long-term planning efforts.
- Support audit processes by preparing and reviewing required documentation.
- Develop and review ROI analyses and business plans for new initiatives, monitoring profitability and risk through performance indicators.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, contributing financial expertise to organizational initiatives.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline required
- Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in healthcare finance, including accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, or planning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present financial insights to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as online databases and data warehouses.
- Experience with Workday and Adaptive preferred
