The IT Support Specialist supports both Corporate headquarters, and various program locations, as directed. This is an on-site position.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInstalls components, analyzes and diagnoses problems and repairs systemsAssists to plan and maintain computer infrastructure for office and classroom systemsWorks with Corporate IT Operations Manager to implement new hardware / software applicationsMaintains currency on software applications, expert on IT systems in use at VOALATrain corporate and program staff in new program applications; provides ongoing training and technical assistance to staffOversee 3rd party technicians and consultants as neededOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSREQUIREMENTS : Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verificationsEDUCATION : Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field or two years IT-related experience.EXPERIENCE : Three years’ progressively responsible experience in PC hardwarePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's Degree in Computer ScienceExperience in troubleshooting PC applications (software)#J-18808-Ljbffr
