SUMMARY
The IT Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's information technology infrastructure and operations. This role involves strategic planning, team management, technology implementation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The IT Director plays a critical role in driving digital transformation, cybersecurity, and maximizing the value of IT investments to support the organization's objectives. This position reports to the CFO.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, including security protocols, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead the organization's cloud computing strategy by evaluating providers, managing migrations, and ensuring data security in cloud environments.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives by deploying new technologies, optimizing IT processes, and leveraging data analytics for informed decision-making.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, negotiate agreements, and ensure alignment with IT strategy and budgetary constraints.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize IT service disruptions during emergencies or crises.
- Implement data analytics and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS) and ethical standards, staying updated on relevant laws and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the IT team, providing training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5 years experience in IT leadership roles, with a track record of successful technology implementations and team management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity practices, ERP systems, cloud computing technologies, and data analytics tools is essential for developing and implementing strategic IT initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware/software compatibility, and IT project management is necessary for coordinating and leading computer-related activities.
- Expertise in IT policies and procedures, vendor management, and team leadership is crucial for maintaining a secure and efficient IT environment while driving innovation and digital transformation.
- Technical expertise in troubleshooting, system transitions, and recommending upgrades is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency.
- IT project management to ensure successful project execution, vendor management skills to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance to uphold legal requirements.
