REPORTS TO: FTS Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the FTS Supervisor, provides daily care of the facility, insuring safe and secure environment.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
• Sweep and mop the assigned areas daily.
• Maintenance of staff and clients bathrooms twice daily, including replacing bathroom tissue/towel and refilling all dispensing products when required.
• General clean up of offices (and common areas)
• Empty garbage cans and replacing plastic bags daily or as indicated.
• Line up garbage bags (on designated days) for a pick-up from Sanitation Department daily or as indicated.
• Store deliveries of boxed products according to procedure and regulatory requirements.
• Assure that necessary maintenance supplies are on hand and stored properly, i.e.., brooms, mops, pails, detergents, disinfectants, plastic bags, etc;
• Set up chairs and tables for lunch and other activities as assigned.
• Respond to work orders, prioritizing requests.
• Perform painting and plastering as indicated or required.
• Buff main floors as indicated.
• Report deficiencies and any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor or designee.
• Perform routine maintenance such as replacement or repair of lock cylinders, light bulbs, batteries on smoke detectors and emergency lights as needed or assigned.
• Responsible of removal and relocation of office equipment and furniture.
• Responsible of security of the stock room.
• Perform minor repairs and minor renovation.
• Promptly respond to and repair emergency maintenance work.
• Maintain good working relationships with staff members throughout the agency.
• Submit Bi-Weekly Modality Maintenance Worker Checklist and any other forms
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
2) Attend meetings, seminars as assigned:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma/GED equivalency
• Fire Guard (F-01) or (F-02)
• General maintenance
• Minor handyman experience – Preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Work weekends, days, evenings and/or nights.
• Ability to speak read and write the English Language.
