Applicants must be well organized, have excellent time management skills, and a flexible schedule.
Travel will be required as part of the position.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma required.
- Act 34 and 151 Clearances.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance required. Must be able to drive to and from work sites and office to attend meetings, supervision, and trainings.
- One year’s experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
- Provides employment support to adults and students with a range of disabilities in finding and maintaining gainful employment including, but not limited to, resume building, pre-employment skills building, completing applications, following up with potential job leads, creating and fostering relationships with potential employers.
- Provides direct support to adults in the home and community settings with a range of disabilities such as: independent living skills, behavioral supports, social skills, community activities
- Works in a team setting and great with communication skills and positivity in the workforce
- Attends weekly supervisions
- Professional and ethical individual who positively represents VPS and all collaborating partners within the community.
