What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at voco | The Clair?

Responsibilities:- Process additional administrative, bookkeeping. and accounting procedures as required
- Reconcile all credit card transactions, financial records, occupancy percentages, room charges, final bill preparation, and cash drawer activity after a thorough audit process
- Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property
- Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management
- Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
- Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Some college is preferred but a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Flexible overnight hours are required
- Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required
- Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
- Must be computer proficient; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus
- Must be able to stand for on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift
