Remote Speech-Language Pathologist
VocoVision is working with a school district near Newnan, GA, to hire a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. If you have experience working in a school setting, we encourage you to apply todaythis position is open and ready to be filled!
Important: You dont need to live in Georgia to apply, but you must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in both your home state and Georgia.
Position Overview:
- Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours per week
- Contract Dates: December 18, 2024 May 28, 2025
- Caseload: K-7th grade students
- Hourly Pay: $45-$50, paid weekly
- Services: Direct and indirect therapy
- Employment Type: Independent contractor
- Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance (required upon offer)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct remote evaluations for speech, language, voice, and hearing impairments.
- Individualized Therapy Plans: Design and implement tailored intervention strategies for students, focusing on speech development, articulation, language skills, and social communication.
- Collaboration: Work remotely with teachers and school staff to provide coordinated services and track student progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a school-based setting.
- Georgia SLP License (must be active and valid).
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification required.
- Must have up-to-date state clearances, including background check, fingerprints, and TB testing (if applicable).
