Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated sales professional to join our team. As our representative, you will be championing the Voda vision and culture across North New Jersey.
You will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential new customers and referral sources, including insurance agents, property managers, plumbers, fire/emergency response teams, real estate agents, and more. You will also attend community events, networking groups, and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential new customers and referral sources
- Develop and maintain organized sales route records
- Conduct sales calls to schedule meetings with target referral prospects
- Secure commitments from customers, resulting in referrals for restoration services
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports promptly
- Attend and actively participate in weekly sales meetings
- Maintain consistent phone and in-person contact with existing customers to strengthen the customer contact database
- Engage actively and effectively in trade, community, and networking activities and events to build and maintain a strong referral network
Qualifications
- Associate degree in business, marketing, or related field with a bachelor's degree preferred
- Four (4) to six (6) years of experience with relationship selling to high-level executives
- Selling skills: understands and effectively applies the concepts of differentiation and adding value; knows customer markets, the issues, and the challenges they face, and can translate that information into useful selling strategies; builds long-term relationships that drive increased revenue and demand for services
- Financial reports and documents: understands the concepts and content of financial reports: profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers and computer software including enterprise systems (Dash, Insight 360, JPP, e.g.) and MS Office, Word, and Excel
