Cleaning and Restoration Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Identify potential new customers and referral sources.
- Create and maintain sales route records.
- Perform sales calls resulting in scheduled meetings with target referral prospects.
- Gain commitment from customers leading to referrals of those in need of cleaning and restoration services.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain phone and in-person contact with existing customers.
- Maintain customer contact database.
- Make presentations to prospective clients and client organizations.
- Be involved and present at marketing events such as farmer’s markets, home shows, etc.
- Consistent, effective involvement in trade, community, and networking organizations, and participation in networking meetings, activities and events.
- Education: Associate’s degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) in business, marketing, or related field. Equivalent professional experience in marketing/business development/sales will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of marketing/business development/sales experience in the residential and commercial Cleaning and Restoration industry.
- Selling Skills – Strong ability to identify prospective clients and build relationships and ability to initiate and closing sales in close collaboration with the Owner.
- Business Acumen – Knowledge of cleaning and restoration business operations and the key drivers for growth and expansion.
- Presentation Skills – Ability to professionally present services and value propositions to potential clients and referral partners.
- Networking & Relationship Building – Skilled in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time Management & Organization – Excellent ability to manage multiple leads, prospects and clients, following up consistently, and prioritizing high-value opportunities.
- Customer Service Orientation – Commitment to ensuring client satisfaction, fostering loyalty, and driving repeat business and referrals.
- Computer Skills: Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers and computer software including CRM systems and the Microsoft 365 suite.
