We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across the United States and Canada for a growing medical manufacturing organization. This newly established position reports directly to the Global VP of HR and will oversee a team of three professionals.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for aligning HR practices with business goals, ensuring compliance across both countries, and strengthening organizational culture and performance. The successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic perspective and operational execution, with a focus on building scalable systems and supporting a values-driven, results-oriented workforce.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Drive HR functions for U.S. and Canadian operations, including benefits, payroll, PTO and leave management, employee relations, training, and compliance.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on organizational design, talent management, and employee development.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and grow top talent.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws in both countries.
- Support and enhance the company’s culture, mission, and leadership values through internal communications and HR programs.
- Lead the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Coach and develop a high-performing regional HR team.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required. Advanced degree/certifications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience in complex, multi-site organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in HR operations, employment law (U.S. and Canadian), benefits and payroll administration, full cycle recruitment, training and development, and talent management with robust talent pipeline maintenance.
- Experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving scalable HR processes in high-growth environments.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
