Outstanding growth potential and flexibility for a proven hunter who can identify opportunities and close deals. We are looking for a driven Territory Sales Manager for the East Central territory of a leading industrial manufacturer selling into municipal customers.
Qualified candidates will currently reside in North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, and Virginia and have experience selling engineered products directly to municipalities.
The successful Territory Sales Manager will be a disciplined prospector and hunter with strong technical aptitude and results orientation who is capable of prioritizing strategic goals while developing new market opportunities and negotiating and closing deals.
Experience in potable water industry strongly preferred.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial sales with municipal customers required.
- Potable water industry experience with sales exposure to contractors and municipalities strongly preferred.
- Successful record of prospecting and hunting for new sales opportunities, identifying key stakeholders and decision makers, and overcoming gatekeepers to make compelling pitches that win business.
- Ability to travel up to 60%.
