We are an industry leader in heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) with both domestic and international customers.
The Project Scheduler will be responsible for updating and maintaining capital project CPM schedules including engineering, fabrication, purchasing and logistics for new Heat Recovery Steam Generator projects under the direction of a Lead (or higher) Planner. Responsibilities include interfacing with project management and project team members through updating and reporting project schedule status.

The base pay range for this Project Scheduler role is $83,250 - $110,250 annually.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Update and monitor engineering, purchasing equipment fabrication, and logistics in CPM schedule.
- Maintain logic network of task dependencies.
- Perform Critical Path analysis and report variances.
- Monitors vendor fabrication schedules and updates CPM schedule for progress. Communicates issues or vendor schedule delays to Lead (or higher) planner, Supply Management, and / or Project Manager.
- Assists with the establishment of appropriate lead times with assistance from Supply Management.
- Assists in tracking internal and external change requests through the creation of schedule activities and network logic. Identify any changes to project baseline plan that constitutes a change order to project.
- Prepares, reviews, and issues weekly and monthly schedule reports in various formats ranging from project layout reports to simple bar charts and audit progress against the plan.
- Prepares inputs for the Monthly Project Reviews for management
- Generates Earned Value reporting for Project Manager and Upper Management in conjunction with CPI/SPI reporting under the supervision of the Lead Planner.
- Provides timely variance analysis and early warning indicators to management on critical or near critical activities by analyzing variances in schedule performance against the plan and communicates the reasons for the variance.
- Monitors closeout activities for all departments and assists with departmental closeout plans.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction or Business.
- Demonstrated experience as a planner/scheduler for engineering or construction projects. Experience in Power Generation industry preferred. Minimum three (3) to eight (8) years of relevant planning experiences.
- Must be able to manage and prioritize work on multiple projects and respond quickly to problems.
- Must be organized and be able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines and be able to perform self-initiated and planned activities.
- Must have a natural ability to focus on details and ensure a high level of accuracy in daily work.
- Requires ability to develop simple plans with integrated logic to attain project goals.
- Internship, associated College Courses or Primavera training courses (P102, P106, 601-603) is preferred.
- Experience in the use of Word, Excel, Primavera P6, Visio, MS Project
- Demonstrated computer experience and knowledge required.
