Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional and pressure tests on valves to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Follow testing procedures and protocols as outlined in the company’s quality manual.
- Record and analyze test data, and document results accurately.
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities to the supervisor.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the assembly and quality control teams to resolve any issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during testing operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in quality control, testing, or a related field is preferred. Experience with valve testing is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of testing procedures and quality standards.
- Ability to read specifications, and test procedures.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation is a plus.
