Job Overview
We are seeking a Call Centre Representative to support a healthcare organization in providing exceptional service to patients. This role is based in a call center environment and involves managing inbound calls, updating records, scheduling appointments, and supporting general patient inquiries. The ideal candidate will be organized, empathetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and update patient demographic information for medical records accuracy.
- Screen patients for program eligibility and collect necessary intake information.
- Schedule appointments based on clinical guidelines and patient need.
- Conduct reminder calls, manage rescheduling, and handle lab result communications.
- Respond to general inquiries and provide appropriate information to patients.
- Support flexible scheduling needs, including some evenings and weekends.
- Attend relevant training sessions and team meetings.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 months of experience in a medical office or customer service setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting.
- Experience working in public or community health.
- Completion of a medical office administration or practice management program.

- Excellent customer service skills with a patient-centered mindset.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
