What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Specialist position at Voigt-Abernathy Company, Inc.?
The Milton Seiler Division of Voigt-Abernathy is growing again and looking for a new inside salesperson. This full- time position will be based out of Hammond, LA facility.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for selecting, sourcing, and pricing parts and replacement equipment
- Communicate/Interact with customers from all industrial markets including petrochemical, marine, oil and gas & general manufacturing
- Communicate/Interact with our outside sales staff in Louisiana and Texas.
- Manage and expedite customer orders efficiently
- Use software system (Prophet 21/Epicor) to organize, prioritize, and oversee workflow.
- Enhance customer and vendor trust through in-depth product knowledge.
- Detect and convey potential new business opportunities as they arise.
- Previous industrial equipment experience is a plus but not required.
