What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applications Specialist position at Voigt-Abernathy?
Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for customer service, preparing pump/parts quotations and complete pump quote packages, order entry, and support of our outside sales force.
Applicant's Abilities to Include:
- Knowledge of industrial pumps, motors, and related equipment is required; water treatment pumps/controls is highly preferred, but not mandatory depending on the experience of applicant.
- Understanding of specifications and technical drawings
- Mechanical engineering degree is a plus, but not a prerequisite
- Understanding of basic hydraulics
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Windows literate and has a high school diploma or equivalent
- Capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks with "minimal guidance or supervision"
