What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Engagement Manager position at Volante of Hillsboro?
- Lead and mentor staff by providing training, setting hours, providing performance feedback, etc.
- Develop, organize, plan, implement, and evaluate a well-rounded and stimulating holistic activity program addressing the needs and limitations of residents.
- Implement life enrichment portion of memory care program.
- Arrange for appropriate activities such as exercise opportunities and spiritual activities as reflected by resident preferences.
- Manage budget, expenses and supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience working with elderly.
- 1 year of experience providing planned activities.
- First Aid Certification based on state requirement.
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability for weekend coverage and on-call emergency situations on a rotating basis
