What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Room Supervisor position at Volante of Melbourne?
- Assist the Dining Room Services Director in recruiting, hiring, and training associates.
- Ensure menus align with nutritional standards, government regulations, and internal procedures.
- Collaborate with our consultant dietitian for major menu changes.
- Review resident diet information, discussing requests and changes with residents and professional staff.
- Assure compliance with physician-prescribed special diets or make necessary adjustments.
- Celebrate holidays and religious occasions by serving appropriate foods that bring joy to our residents.

- Collaborating with the Dining Services Director in ordering and scheduling food and supplies.
- Ensuring timely delivery to maintain adequate amounts for our weekly menus.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Supervisory experience in a food
service setting recommended. - Dietary Certifications as required per State Guidelines.
- Must be in possession of, or have the ability to obtain, a valid state driver’s license.
- Travel may be required as needed.
