Accounts Payable Coordinator

Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to provide essential accounting assistance to our operations and accounting teams. This role will be to respond to financial inquiries and concerns, ensuring that our business needs are met efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume accounts payable transactions.
- Accurately code and enter 500-600 invoices monthly in a timely manner.
- Manage weekly check run processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice payments.
- Assist with month-end close activities and accounts payable accruals.
- Conduct high-volume supplier statement reconciliations.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounts payable experience.
- 1099 preparation experience preferred but not essential.
- Experience with procurement cards and travel & expense reporting preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and reference inquiry.
