What You’ll Do
As a Reconstruction Project Director, you will be responsible for estimating, managing, and overseeing reconstruction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with insurance adjusters, property owners, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution while delivering exceptional customer service.
🔹 Project & Client Management

Act as the primary point of contact for customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.

Conduct on-site assessments, collaborate with insurance representatives, and develop accurate scopes of work and estimates.

Secure signed performance authorizations from property owners.

Ensure that emergency response work is completed safely and efficiently before reconstruction begins.
🔹 Project Coordination & Execution

Partner with the Superintendent to coordinate permits, staffing, and materials, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion.

Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track.

Manage change orders and communicate scope adjustments to all stakeholders.

Oversee conflict resolution and problem-solving to maintain smooth project flow.
🔹 Business Development & Leadership

Develop and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure future work.

Represent Our Client in networking events and industry organizations.

Participate in bi-weekly Work-In-Progress (WIP) reviews and contribute to company-wide performance goals.
What You Bring to the Table
✔ 3-5 years of project management experience in construction and/or restoration.
✔ Proficiency in Xactimate for estimating mitigation and reconstruction projects.
✔ Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams, budgets, and project timelines.
✔ Ability to build relationships with clients and industry professionals to drive business growth.
✔ Certifications such as IICRC WRT, FSRT, or Xactimate Level 1 are a plus.
✔ Bachelor’s degree preferred (but not required with equivalent experience).
✔ Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
